Tracy Buteaux Etie

Tracy was born and raised along the beautiful coast of south Louisiana in the small town of Jeanerette. She takes pride in her southern upbringing in the Acadiana region which is rich with culture, food & music.

Tracy has always been a goal setter and was Valedictorian of both her high school & nursing classes. She has been a licensed nurse since 1984 & has enjoyed a rewarding career in preventive health care.

She was an active member of the Iberia Parish Medical Auxiliary from 1986 - 2006, serving as secretary for this organization. It was during this time that she helped spearhead 5-K Runs raising scholarship funds for high school graduates going into a medically-related career. Tracy also served as a school-board member for Epiphany Day School in New Iberia, LA.

From 2003 - 2005 she volunteered and served as a board member and helped with fundraising for a project that worked with the City of New Iberia, Iberia Parish Parks, and Recreational Department. This project led to the founding of Bayou Wheels Skate Park (located in City Park in New Iberia). This was Louisiana’s first public, outdoor, extreme skate park.

Tracy served her parish (county) as a Community Nurse Liaison from 2006 - 2007 while working for Iberia Medical Center.

Since 2006, Tracy has been a volunteer in her community by helping people suffering from depression, chronic illness, and families who have lost someone from suicide. She was a volunteer receptionist at the Women’s Center in Lafayette 2008 -2009 helping single Mothers.

Tracy worked in the scheduling department for Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia in 2010. She took a sabbatical from nursing for a few years to help care for several sick family members in need.

It was her entrepreneurial spirit which led to a career change in 2014 when she became an independent business owner. She fell in love with the ability to travel more and loved meeting new people in new places. She enjoys continuing to help people improve their lives, whether it is with personal or financial goals. Tracy has been mentored and has studied personal growth and development since 2014. This led her to invest in herself and become a certified business coach for individuals and corporate leaders.

Tracy has served on leadership teams with companies in the health and wellness industry since 2014, one of which was the Women’s Advisory Council for Quintessential Biosciences. She was also on the leadership team for Common Sense Wellness Worldwide.

Tracy loves people, reading, and constantly learning something new & she has a passion for helping people. She also enjoys birding and bird photography.

She and her husband Terry live in the Village of Loreauville, Louisiana. Together they have 7 children, 7 grand children & 3 great-grand children. They enjoy an active life in Sportsman’s Paradise (south Louisiana) including fishing, kayaking, biking, pickle-ball, swimming & birding. They treasure time with family and enjoy traveling together.
